My journey once again through the "Moulin Rouge"

Oh God, I just finished watching Baz Luhrman's "Moulin Rouge" for like the umpteenth time just now.

It had me just like it did every other time: Me, my knees to my chest, clutching a pillow, and with wide, ever-hoping puppy dog eyes on my face.

I love musicals, especially modern one's like "Moulin Rouge" or the more recent hit "High School Musical"

"Moulin Rouge" is in a whole other category itself. I can't describe it, the ending... it clutches my very soul like no other film or television experience. Original songs like "Fly Away" and "Come What May", even reiterations of "The Show Must Go On" and the "Roxanne" medley completely absorb me in their pure emotional clarity and power. "Moulin Rouge" is definately a classic of my generation in itself.

I'm a hopeless romantic, viciously clinging to my high moral standard and continuing to "fill the world with silly love songs", living in Fort Smith will not shake me from what I know best. Call me naive or whatever you want: I'll still continue watching my fairy tale, true-love-is-forever endings and remind you of my ideals by continuing to sing my "silly love songs".

There are enough people that have already given up on the Bohemian ideals of Freedom, Beauty, Truth and Love. It's all I can do by telling all the rest to never stop believing. I don't quite care if it's as cheesy as a dairy farm, I'll keep on preaching it: Don't stop believing the true and original Bohemian ideals of Freedom, Beauty, Truth, and Love.

Two more things:

1. "Come What May" just may become my future wedding song.

2. "The greatest thing you'll ever learn is just to love and to be loved in return"
